What is yoga?

Yoga is a science 5,000+ years old and not a religion. Yoga is a Sanskrit word meaning “union” or “bring together” – it is an ancient practice of self-discovery, uniting the body, mind, and spirit to find peace and contentment.

A complete system of self-care, yoga is a practice to keep the body healthy and the mind happy. It provides the body with balance of flexibility and strength, helps increase your energy and provides great stress relief.   Yoga also aids in the body’s healing process – through movement and breathing techniques, improving circulation and cleansing of toxins held in the body.
