Benefits of private yoga instruction

  • Great for beginners to go over specific poses and proper alignment.

  • Work with injuries by modifying specific poses to help speed progress in the healing process, (ie. Shoulder, wrists, back and knees).

  • Safely learn more advanced poses like arm balances, headstands, handstand.

  • Privacy and comfort of your own home.

Private sessions can be designed for any level.

Types of yoga I teach.

Pre-Natal
From the end of your first trimester or if you have practiced yoga before then from the beginning of your pregnancy. Postures to prepare for childbirth and moving through gentle yoga and breathing to keep the body happy during this special time.

Post-Natal
Yoga that gently energizes you, working on bringing back tone and flexibility in the body. You can choose to do yoga with your baby if you wish.

Yoga for therapy or Injuries
Should you have specific problems, e.g rotator cuff injury, prior knee injuries, surgery, arthritis, hip replacements, spinal issues, blood pressure, etc we can work together to still give you a great yoga practice while recovering, or for rehabilitation.

Ashtanga
Taking you through learning the first series, or working individually through each asana in the first series.

Eclectic
Mixing a lot of different styles of yoga to give you a dynamic energetic yoga or a more gentle flow.

When yoga is incorporated into our lives, it offers us many benefits. Time to re- energize, calm our minds, stretch our muscles, improve focus and balance. Most people begin to feel improvement in their flexibility, strength and well-being after only a few classes.
